Council Approves Franchised Trash & Recycling Services
On April 28, the City Council approved franchised trash and recycling services for the City of Derby. With the changes, trash bills will go down for most Derby residents, and curbside recycling will be available to everyone. View the Fact Sheet and learn more about the RecycleBank Program.
Buckner Construction Begins

City Stands by Trash Decision
The City of Derby is going to stand firm in its decision to allow franchised trash service. An ordinance (#1980) was recently passed by the City Council, but is being fought by the owner Derby Disposal. Learn more about the city's stance on franchised trash services.
