The Derby Farmers Market operates each year from May through September on Saturdays from 7 a.m. to noon.

The market is located at 611 Mulberry Rd. (Madison Ave. & Mulberry Rd.), in the Derby Senior Center parking lot.

Fresh seasonal produce, locally made products, and handmade crafts are among the many offerings available. Early season produce includes cauliflower, kale, broccoli, spinach, radishes, green onions, beets, swiss chard, cucumbers, turnips, squash, asparagus and lettuce.

Non-produce items include: local raw honey, salsa, baked goods, jams/jellies, fudge, honey-based granola, German sausage, kettle corn, beef, pork and free range eggs.

Other items include hand-crafted wood products, knit items from Kansas Alpaca yarns, purses, aprons, bears, jewelry, handmade soap/lotion and framed poetry.
