1. Third Thursday at Madison Avenue Central Park | Thursday, March 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. 
    This free, art-focused event is just what you need to wind down during break. Sit back in the Fireside Patio, sip wine from Grace Hill Winery or a drink from Shaken or Stirred Bartending, and enjoy art, jazz, and dinner from a food truck at the City of Derby’s first Third Thursday of the year. 2. T-Rex Takeover at Field Station: Dinosaurs | March 11 – 19
    The Field Station staff has been working on a roster of fun games, cool activities and roaring new shows in honor of the Tyrannosaurus Rex. Enjoy the T-Rex Getaway, a limited time musical featuring T-Rex Hatchlings, the beloved Toddler “T” and the Field Station’s living, breathing roaring Mighty T-Rex. 3. Marvel Madness at High Park, Zimmerman Shelter | Saturday, March 18 from 1 to 2 p.m. 
    Children ages 5 to 10 years olds can compete in various challenges to see if they have the strength, speed and knowledge to become an Avenger. You may even get to meet a member of the Avengers! Register by March 15. Learn more at https://bit.ly/3Zf4s0l
4. St. Patrick’s Day with First Man Brewery | Friday, March 17 from noon to 11 p.m.
   Check out Derby’s new brewery and enjoy a craft beer. Two new Irish inspired beers will be released in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Mi Sueño will be offering dinner options. Learn more at

5. St. Patrick’s Day Party at The Sandbox: Derby | Friday, March 17, 9 a.m. to Saturday, March 18, 1 a.m. 
    Play pickleball, sand volleyball and cornhole for free in the dome from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Enjoy Irish themed activities and menu specials throughout the day, including Green Eggs and Ham breakfast and a green chocolate fountain. Enjoy a special mixer and garnish bar from 9 a.m. to noon ($5 per drink), Happy Hour runs from 3 to 6 p.m. and will include live music and Irish specialty food and drinks. 6. Spring Break World Tour India Activities at the Derby Public Library | Activities held throughout the week 
   Teens can explore and learn about India as part of the Spring Break World Tour program. Virtually travel to India to celebrate Holi, the Festival of Colors. 8. Bowl with Friends at Derby Bowl

9. Disc Golf at Stone Creek Park
    This park boasts a popular 18-hole course frequented by Derby and Wichita-area disc golf clubs and enthusiasts.

10. Visit Derby Parks
    Derby is known for its fun and unique parks. Check out Madison Avenue Central Park, Warren Riverview Park and High Park for their playgrounds, walking paths and scenery.
