Derby’s Fourth Annual Spring Into Art Set for April 19

2019 Spring Into Art

Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 19, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the fourth annual Spring Into Art event at Madison Avenue Central Park, 512 E. Madison Ave.

This free, family-friendly event will feature art for sale, live music and performances, hands-on art activities, the Kansas Grown Farmers Market, food trucks, face painter, balloon artist and more.

Enjoy the following food vendors at the event: BS Sandwich Press, Lolo’s Crepes, Crave ‘n Kettle Corn, Coco’s Kitchen, Drury Lane, Hot 2 Trot Gourmet Hot Dogs, Kona Ice, Lumpaloozia, Snack Shack, and Girl Scout Troop 40421 booth with drinks and baked goods.

Entertainment at the amphitheater includes the following:

  • 11 a.m.: Molly Neeley Trio, performs a wide range of music including covers of classics, alternative, folk, and pop
  • 1 p.m.: J. Michael Terrell, performs a blend of pop/rock originals and covers
  • 2 p.m.: Tanglewood Tiger Elementary Choir, third, fourth and fifth grade choir
  • 2:30 p.m.: Paul Wells, Christian singer/song writer from Derby
  • 3:00 p.m.: Raeann’s Fancy Footwork, dance performances

The event will be held rain or shine. Inclement weather will move most activities inside The Venue. In everything we do, your safety is our highest priority.
