Road Construction Update: July 7

Road Work Ahead sign

Summer is the best time to make improvements to our roadways. Here are a few upcoming projects:

Buckner St. Reconstruction - Main St. to Madison Ave.
Buckner St. from Main St. to Madison Ave. will be reconstructed. Local traffic and access will be maintained during nights and weekends. Removal of the existing roadway has begun. The project is expected to be complete in early September.

James Street Mill and Overlay - Trail Ridge to Rock Road
Mill and overlay on James St. from Trail Ridge to Rock Rd. will begin Wednesday, July 12, and should take a few weeks. Two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the project. Traffic patterns and driving lanes will change frequently. There will be large equipment and trucks, so please slow down and use caution when driving in this area.

Tall Tree Crack Repair - Roundabout to Braum’s
Crack repair on Tall Tree Rd. is scheduled to begin July 17 and expected to take a few weeks to complete. During construction only eastbound traffic will be maintained. Motorists will not be able to travel west from Braum’s to the roundabout at Triple Creek Dr. while the improvements are being made.
