Here is an update:Nelson Dr. & Meadowlark Blvd. Improvement ProjectBeginning August 7, Nelson Dr. north of Meadowlark Blvd. will be closed so work can be done to tie in the new Nelson Dr. to the existing street. The Nelson Dr. connection to Meadowlark Blvd. will remain closed until the new Nelson Dr. is complete. The street will re-open when the new road is ready for traffic. The new Nelson Dr. will curve east around the back side of Burger King, QuikTrip and Ultra Modern Pool & Patio. Nelson Dr. will be a two-lane road with curb and gutter and an improved drainage system. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of the year.Madison Avenue Improvement ProjectAfter a short delay, revised plans to resolve the water main conflicts have been approved. New stormwater structures are being made, and the City expects delivery of these structures the week of August 7.
