Derby’s 2nd Annual Spring Into Art Set for April 22

Spring Into Art

Mark your calendar for Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the 2nd Annual Spring Into Art event at Madison Avenue Central Park, 512 E. Madison Ave.

This free, family-friendly event will feature art for sale, live music and performances by school groups and local artists, interactive art demonstrations, the Kansas Grown Farmers Market, food trucks, local food vendors and more. Food vendors include B.S. Sandwich Press, Drury Ln. Bakery & Cafe, Park Grounds Coffeehouse, Crave'n Kettle Corn, LoLo’s Crepes, Hot-2-Trot Gourmet Hot Dogs with a few more to be announced.  

For artists who would like to show their art and offer it for sale, booths (10 feet by 10 feet) are available for $25. Learn more and apply to be an art vendor at www.derbyks.com/SpringIntoArt or contact Janae’ Springer at 316-788-1519 ext. 1232 or janaespringer@derbyweb.com.

The event will be held rain or shine. Inclement weather will move most activities inside The Venue.

This event is a joint effort by the City of Derby, Derby Recreation Commission, Derby Arts Council and Derby Public Schools.
