Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of Warren Riverview Park, located at 322 W. Washington St., Derby, KS 67037 will be received by the City of Derby, Kansas at City Hall, 611 N. Mulberry, Derby, Kansas 67037 until 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2017 and then at said office will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project is briefly described as follows:

Copies of the Drawings and Specs documents may be obtained as a full printed set for purchase, or on CD or download at no charge, from ARC, 518 W. Douglas, Wichita, KS 67203; (316) 264-9344. Only complete sets of documents will be issued.
A pre-bid meeting for all bidders will be held at The Venue (512 E. Madison Ave., Derby, KS 67037) on March 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., local time. Prospective prime bidders are requested to attend, but not required.
Bidders’ Questions: Architect will provide responses at the Pre-Bid conference to bidders’ questions received up to two (2) business days prior to conference.
Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance and Labor and Material Bond, Payment Bond, Statutory Bond and required insurance, delivered in a form acceptable to the Owner will be required of the successful bidder.

Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President’s Executive Order No. 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
Proposals must be accompanied by a certified or cashier’s check, or bid bond is acceptable to the City in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal. Checks are to be made payable to the City of Derby and drawn on a solvent Kansas Bank or Trust Company. These checks or bonds are to be retained by the City Clerk until the contract for the project shall have been awarded.
