Technical Services Division


The Technical Services Division is comprised of units that provide technical support to the law enforcement mission for the police department. Units include the Police Chaplains, Police Records and Emergency Communications.

Other functions within the Division include Professional Standards, recruitment and pre-employment testing, training, management of the field training programs, and policy development.

The Technical Services Commander is responsible for planning, directing and evaluating the overall effectiveness of the division as well as coordinating training programs for all department personnel. The division commander also participates in planning and research, and budget preparation.
