Derby neighborhoods deserve to be celebrated! The Neighborhood of the Year award program highlights and recognizes work being done by neighborhood leaders and residents in our community.

A neighborhood may be nominated based on its projects or activities that create physical or social improvements to a neighborhood, build or enhance neighborhood cohesion and communication, and/or enhance the capacity of a neighborhood organization to better serve its community.

Eligibility

Any resident-led neighborhood within the city limits of the City of Derby is eligible to apply. It can include homeowners associations or other neighborhood groups or associations. The deadline for nominations is September 29, 2023.
