The Neighbor of the Year award program honors Derby residents who make a positive contribution at the neighborhood level in the spirit of cooperation and connection.

Do you know someone who goes the “extra mile” to make their neighborhood a better place? It could be someone who tries to make sure everyone in the neighborhood feels included or someone who always shows up to help with neighborhood activities - a person who has devoted time and talent in service to their neighbors, their neighborhood, and our community.

Eligibility

Any resident of the City of Derby may be nominated. More than one nomination may be submitted for a single nominee. The deadline for nominations is September 29, 2023.
